The noble area of the Palace of the Rock of the Conde d’Óbidos consists of six sumptuous halls – Consejo Supremo, Parábolas, D. João de Castro, Garlands, Mythology and Dinner – all of them covered with panels of tiles of the eighteenth century type. On this floor there is also a Renaissance Library and a small Chapel. From the artistic heritage of the Palace, stand out the ornamental paintings, the magnificent chandeliers, the paneled ceilings and the diverse antique furniture. The Terrace, adjacent to the halls, allows to enlarge these spaces and to use an awning, whenever necessary.
